Job Title Project Coordinator
Nature of Work

The Project Coordinator is a member of the Market Development Department. Responsibilities include a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of the day to day operations of the department. Assists in program planning and development; interprets, monitors, and analyzes information regarding operating policies and procedures. Manages demand for Campus Community and departmental projects within the multiple software platforms that are used within Student Services.

Examples of Work Performed

1. Assist in the development, marketing and promotion of additional and on-going recruitment and enrollment and/or revenue producing for-credit and non-credit activities and events. Potential activities/events may include, but are not limited to:
• Traditional on-campus enrollment
• Graduate & online enrollment
• Continuing education programs
• Professional development programs
• Non-degree-seeking populations
• Dual credit courses
• Certificate programs, workshops, seminars
• Signing Day, New Student Orientation, Family Day and other related events/activities.
• Conferences, camps, retreats, etc.
• Cohort degree programs
• Corporate partnerships
• Adult interdisciplinary degree programs
2. Utilize current reports and determine the need for additional reports to analyze, assess and evaluate the effectiveness and profitability of programs and activities overseen by Market Development and Admissions. Make suggestions for change to the Director(s) based on the analysis.
3. Develop, update and maintain START, Market Development and Admissions webpages, social media and other web-based promotional channels.
4. Work with Directors of Admissions and Market Development to create and maintain a communication plan utilizing various databases and platforms.
5. Various office related tasks to include, but not limited to: answering telephones, maintaining files, databases, email accounts, providing information to prospective students, staff and campus visitors.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or work related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Professional customer service, communication and organizational skills required
Proven experience with technology and applicable software applications
Project Management experience
Higher education experience
Must possess excellent customer service, computer, and organizational skills
High level of self-motivation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor
Demonstrate good judgment

Physical Demands

The physical requirements for this position may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the ability to use a computer, calculator, telephone, keyboard, and/or various types of office equipment.  Must be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats and satisfactorily perform the functions of this position.
