Job Title Part-time Clerical Position
Nature of Work

This position is designed to assist the Director of the Transitional Studies Program with clerical needs.

Examples of Work Performed

• Record TSP student data
• Schedule and proctor student placement tests
• Monitor TSP email account and manage communications with TSP students
• Assist with orientation and registration events
• Track completion of TSP student tasks
• Assist TSP Director with calendar management
• Greet walk-ins and provide direction
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of office
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, initiative, ability to work with others and to provide good customer service
• Attention to detail
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work up to 24 hours/week during established business hours (M-F, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
• Experience in various applications
• Experience working in a higher education environment

Salary Information $12.00/hr
